Question
I have combination skin, oily on T-zone, but very dry around the eyes and lips, and acne-prone all year round. What should I do?

Answer
You need to keep the oily areas free of excess oil at all times. That said, if you’re constantly washing your face with something like soap, it will have the opposite effect and strip your skin of essential oils. That’s why you need to follow a skincare routine that removes excess oil from the T-zone, but that does not entirely strip the essential lipid (oil) layer from the skin surface. For the dry areas of the face, the key is to keep them clean while also figuring out how best to replenish them with moisture. And what’s even more important is sealing in the moisture so it doesn’t escape. In addition, when dryness around the eyes and mouth is of particular concern, if you use a product that provides a skin muscle-relaxing effect before locking in moisture, it actually helps prevent dryness in these areas.

If you follow the above skincare routine year-round, excess oil should no longer be a problem and your skin will be properly hydrated and less prone to acne.

Question
I have really clogged pores, pock-marks, and rough skin. Any suggestions?

Answer
For these kinds of concerns, the first thing that comes to mind is a peeling treatment. After cleansing, get in the habit of using a peeling mask one to three times a week to remove old surface cells. If you are concerned about clogged pores, apply it three times a week. After removing old cells and dirt with the peeling treatment, you need something to shrink the appearance of pores. By regularly following the above steps, you will find that skin dullness becomes less and less of a concern. Finally, don’t forget to finish by replenishing your skin’s moisture.

Question
How can I fix my uneven skin tone?

Answer
See 2 above. You can resolve this by using a peeling product and reducing the look of pores. Moreover, tanning is the biggest cause of skin dullness. Be sure to remember to follow strategies to protect your skin from UV rays when you go out, especially in summer.

Question
How can I keep my face free from blackheads and spots?

Answer
Tanning or sunburn is the greatest cause of this. Always protect your skin from the sun! If you accidentally get sunburned, replenish your skin with Vitamin C to prevent it from becoming pigmented. But, regular Vitamin C is fragile and can break down and be destroyed before it reaches deep within skin. Products that use Vitamin C derivative that transforms into pure Vitamin C only after penetrating skin provide excellent defense against spots and freckles.

Question
I'm 41 years old and I have zits. Any advice?

Answer
To counteract adult acne, you must remove “bad” oil while maintaining “good” oil. When you’re young, even if you wash your face with harsh cleansers, good oil is powerful enough to remain intact and banish bad oil. But as you age, good oil gradually loses power. That’s why you need skincare products that remove only bad oil while maintaining the good. And after removing bad oil it’s important to replenish skin with moisture.

Question
I'm starting to get wrinkles around my eyes. What can I do?

Answer
The skin around the eyes is very thin and sensitive, and that’s why it shows signs of age faster than any other part of the face. This is because moisture evaporates faster from this thin skin than from other parts of the face and it is more difficult to keep it moisturized. That’s why you need to use special, more “intensive” moisturizing products around the eyes.

Question
My skin is starting to lose elasticity.

Answer
Once skin cell activity starts to weaken, skin starts to lose elasticity. Skin cells lose vitality because of :

-- Dryness
-- Aging.

Make a point of regularly using moisturizer and regularly massaging your face to activate skin cells.

Question
Should I use UV protection even in winter or when indoors?

Answer
You should always take measures to protect your skin from the sun, regardless of the season or weather. It’s especially easy to forget about sun protection in winter when the sun’s rays are weak or on overcast days. But UV rays reach earth year-round, regardless of the season or weather. It’s also a good idea to apply sun protection products when you are indoors in sunny areas for long period of time or when you are in a car.

Question
What should I use to lighten my freckles?

Answer
Use brightening skincare products to diminish the appearance of freckles.

Question
My skin is still youthful. Do I really need skincare products?

Answer
In terms of skincare, it's never too early to start following a skincare routine. But if you start using really rich-textured, intensive products from a very young age, your skin can become used to these, and in the end it can actually be not so good for your skin. When you’re young, use relatively light textured products and avoid overloading your skin with oil from rich emulsions. As you get older (that is, as your skin becomes drier), it’s a good idea to gradually switch to richer products appropriate for your age.

Question
I am considering plastic surgery for all the signs of aging such as crows feet and sagging. What skincare would you recommend after the procedures?

Answer
After cosmetic surgery, it is best to check with your surgeon about the most appropriate products to use.

Question
My skin is super dry. Any advice?

Answer
For extremely dry skin, we recommend the following:

-- Regularly replenish and maintain moisture in skin by using moisturizer morning and night.
-- Always remove your makeup thoroughly at night. If you go to bed with your foundation on, the foundation absorbs your skin’s moisture as you sleep.
-- Before going to bed at night, after moisturizing skin, we recommend also using a night cream. (Although it depends on the condition of your skin, if you do not particularly suffer from acne, it is a good idea to use a night cream to further maintain moisture in skin as you sleep.
-- In the daytime, it’s a good idea to replenish skin’s moisture as required, for example with a spray-type product that can be applied over makeup.

Question
What is the basic sequence of use for skincare products?

Answer
The basic steps are as follows:

-- Makeup remover
-- Cleanser
-- Moisture-replenishing
-- Moisture-maintaining

According to your needs, you should add brightening skincare, anti-wrinkle (eye area) treatments and night creams.

Apply brightening and anti-wrinkle products after moisturizer.
Night cream should also follow moisturizer.

The combined steps for using basic and special care treatments are as follows:

-- Makeup remover
-- Cleanser
-- Moisture-replenishing
-- Brightening, anti-wrinkle treatments
-- Moisture-maintaining
-- Night cream
