Beauty Consultants promote Dr.Ci:Labo’s brand and its cosmetic products in department stores and/or drug stores by providing advice on the purchase and application of cosmetics. Consultants need strong selling skills.

General Description:
As a beauty consultant you will help your customers to choose the right beauty products for their lifestyle to make the most of their personal appearance. Most beauty consultants work in department stores and/ or drug stores. Your job would involve spending time with customers, helping them to choose products; understanding skin types, facial shapes and coloring, and knowing which products will be most effective and best suit your customer; recommending products which will suit your customer's lifestyle and age; keeping up to date with new ranges of products, fragrances and color ranges and giving customers a facial or applying make-up. To do this work you should have a smart appearance and be well groomed, have excellent interpersonal skills and be good at selling.

Work Conditions:
Beauty consultants work a variety of hours throughout the week which may include some weekend and evening hours. You will work in retail environments, which are busy, moderate and slow, clean and well lit. You will usually work behind a small counter area and spend most of your time standing, serving and advising customers.
